The opportunity

Industry Engagement Manager

This role liaises with the wider housebuilding industry. Providing information and support to developers, initially during the mobilisation phase to get them registered and then longer term to help them meet the requirements of the New Homes Quality Code.

This role will require you to engage with industry organisations to encourage initial registration and ongoing retention with NHQB to ensure a smooth transition.

You’ll be the first point of contact for managing questions and providing support and guidance to registered developers or those considering registration.

You will be reporting to the Operations Director

Location

Remote working with monthly meetings in London plus regular visits to developer offices and sites.

What you’ll bring

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Developers across the industry.
  • Supporting Operations Director with engagement of developers who are not signed up to the code.
  • Working with the Comms team to deliver a robust developer value proposition and drive improvements across the sector.
  • Supporting individual developers on their transition to activate the new arrangements within their business.
  • Maintaining/updating the NHQB training module.
  • Ensuring accurate and updated information on NHQB’s CRM system
  • Maintenance of FAQ documents for builders and consumers.
  • Supporting Operations Director in collating trend analysis and developer feedback in terms of code requirement challenges.
  • Supporting Operation Director and Comms team in providing consistent, clear messaging on written templates
  • Supporting and taking part in the NHQB Industry panel.
  • Assisting with the development of Case Studies to help industry adapt to the new arrangements.
  • Support the wider team in understanding the sector and the challenges they face.
  • Any other reasonable duties that would support the Operations Director and the wider NHQB team in developer engagement

Key skills and knowledge required for this role:

  • 5+ years' experience within a management role in housebuilding – ideally within Sales or Customer Service
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
  • Extensive New Homes Quality Code knowledge
  • Customer focused
  • Good Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-starter, good at working under own steam
  • Positive, flexible and can-do attitude
  • Good literacy and grammar.

What you can expect from us

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
